The Whole Being Inc Manifesto
What is whole being?
It’s all the parts that make us human along with that space inside untouched by man, tranquil, confident, strong.
Whole Being Inc is about the totality of who we are – spiritual beings on this human journey. It’s about the yin and yang, shadows and light, contraction and expansion. It’s a huge experiment of exploring HOW to incorporate all the parts of us- human and essence- to live more intentionally, soulfully, and purposefully.
And let’s face it. It’s about feeling good and having fun.
I believe we are all here to grow, to shine our light, and to experience the tranformation through love.
We most often grow through pressure, friction, challenge. Lights appear more bright within a darkness. And love is often most missed when absent. But that doesn’t mean growth has to be hard, we have to always be in darkness to shine, or love always has to be walking out the door for you to appreciate it! C’mon, now. That sucks!
Incorporating the whole being means seeing and feeling the limitations, yet not staying limited by them. Through curiosity, compassion, and willingness, you face and explore your limitations, remaining open to the possibilities while staying true to you and how you want to feel. Always asking, “Is there room for love even here?”
In all areas of our lives, we strive to incorporate the whole being. Courageously, sometimes vulnerably. Expansion is the goal. Joy is the goal. Fulfillment, intention and purpose are the goals. Ultimately, we become whole again.
About Me
There are two kinds of people I often meet- those who love yoga and those who have an excuse to not do it. Like it or not, there’s a reason people get hooked on it and why it’s become a multi-billion dollar industry.
People come to yoga for so many reasons. Maybe they want to be healthier, stronger, more flexible. Perhaps they are healing a physical or emotional issue. Some just want to be more relaxed, calm, peaceful.
Ultimately we want to feel free, calm, healthy, and happy.
Yoga is challenging. It’s designed to bring us inward, do some internal housecleaning, and reconnect us with our innate wisdom so we can show up fully in the world. Yoga helps us speak up for our needs, show up vulnerably in relationships, be more compassionate to ourselves and others. It gives us the strength to do what we need to do for our body and mind in order to be happy and healthy.
I love yoga, but I didn’t choose yoga. It chose me. Not once, but over and over and over until I finally surrendered and stepped into this gift of teaching both on and off the mat.
I’ve always been a body geek.
Bodies and healing have always fascinated me. Both of my parents were in the medical field. I loved the illustrations in Gray’s Anatomy (the book, not the TV show) every bit as much as The Little Engine That Could. As a little girl, I wanted to be a nurse (like my mom) so I could help people be healthy and go outside to play again (children think like that). What I didn’t realize was the person I most wanted to heal was my mom. That desire has driven most of my career and taken me on my own healing journey. I think that is why Spirit chose yoga for me. It merged two of my long time fascinations.
See, I geek out on how the body and mind work together, how the body stores emotions, and how we can shift it to be optimal. I pull in my knowledge of yoga, physical activity, breathing, mindfulness, ayurveda, chakras, and trauma healing to create customized programs for my clients.
My mission in life is to help people remember they are Divine, infinite beings and to embrace their journey. Imagine being connected in “flow”- the place where you create with ease, attract abundance and prosperity. Yum.
My juju.
What you get when you work with me is nothing shy of modern magic.
Intuitive guidance (aka woo woo) + practical application + a dash of playfulness.
I am a pragmatic woo-woo. I tap into energy, listen to the guides, read energy, see the age you first got stuck, and can even hear your heart’s responses to questions. While I don’t have all the answers, I have a deep knowing about the why’s and a keen ability to ask the tough questions that will take you further on your journey than you can presently imagine!
You need a safe space to step most fully into your greatness, someone who gets you AND supports you in the journey, and an inspired action plan to keep you on track (because it’s oh-so-easy to fall back into familiar patterns). That’s what I do. That’s my zone of genius.
Oooohhh! That’s the juiciness, the sweetness, the dizzying feeling of swinging on the swing set or playing on the merry-go-round. Expansiveness. YES! Join me?
