How do you want to feel?
That simple question was like a cosmic two by four upside my head.
I knew how I didn’t want to feel. Tired of fighting. Tired of struggling. Tired of hurting. Tired failing. I was tired of being tired. But somehow I didn’t actually know how I wanted to feel. I needed a map. The Desire Map by Danielle LaPorte was a life bridge between just doing yoga and actually living yoga.
After 15 years of teaching yoga, I have come to know that you have a say in your life.
What comes into our cupboards and closets, what goes into our bodies, the people with whom we spend our free time, the gifts we give, how we worship, the thoughts we focus on. Clutter is a choice. Anger is a choice. Resentment is a choice. But so are spaciousness, flexibility, laughter, compassion, tenderness, and resilience.
Choosing to lean into the feelings you most want to feel is one of the most powerful things you can do with your life. Choosing YOU is the most empowering choice you can make.

Daily Desire Practice is a body + soul limbering workshop to provide the tools you need to embody the best version of you. We get straight to the heart of the matter: How do you want to feel? You will walk away with your Core Desired Feelings and use those to guide your life decisions in your career, your body, your creativity, your relationships, and your spirit.
My right-brain, engineer by training, science-based partner describes this work as a way to refocus your goals and life so you can make better and more effective daily choices. We both agree our life and our relationship is richer as a result.
This workshop incorporates yoga, mindfulness, soul limbering exercises, and self care practices. Space is very limited. Bring a mat, journal, something to write with and water. Registration closes February 5, 2017.
